Different types of Bin Liners

07 December 2009 | By admin in Bin Liners

Bin liners commonly referred to as trash bags, garbage bags or refuse sacks, are used for lining the container or the bin which is meant for disposal of garbage. Bin liners are a part of the household cleaning supplies which are meant to protect the container from the garbage and thereby prevent contamination by maintaining hygienic standards. Since most of the bin liners are black in color, they are commonly referred to as black bags as well.

Bin liners are widely used by people for garbage disposal as an important part of cleaning supplies because of their numerous advantages. These black bags present the individual with a convenient and sanitary option to handle garbage without creating a mess. Since they are lightweight in nature they can be easily handled by anyone in the sense that once the bin liners are filled with garbage they can be pulled by their edges, closed and tied without even having to touch the rubbish. They serve as lining material for the waste bins so that the container itself remains clean by not coming in direct contact with the trash in any manner. Bin liners are particularly useful cleaning supplies in case of wet or messy rubbish which is odorous in nature since they can be wrapped shut to prevent spillage of any kind.

The most common form of bin liners are black bags which commonly form an integral part of cleaning supplies used in homes, offices and other venues. Due to their popularity and everyday usage, these bin liners are available in wholesale shops or retail stores in a variety of sizes in packets or rolls of ten units or in multiples of ten. The material most commonly used for manufacture of these black bags are good quality high density and low density polythene which not only make the bag lightweight but are also resistant to wear, tear and leakage.

The high density bin liners are black bags which are strong durable and puncture resistant because they have a high molecule weight. In addition these black bags are also temperature resistant due to which they are capable of withstanding damage even when loaded with a large amount of rubbish. Comparatively, the low density bin liners are available in many colors other than the conventional black bags and are lightweight, water resistant or leak proof due to which they are mainly used for storing indoor rubbish.
